My favourite hike leads us to the most beautiful place in Austria 2021 – the Wiegensee. For my birthday, I wished that we would do this hike with the whole family.

From the starting point of the Tafamuntbahn Partenen, the first 500 metres are comfortably covered by gondola towards the Bergstadion. From there, a natural path leads steadily uphill through the forest. The last section is a path to enjoy. Above the tree line we hiked with a beautiful view towards the Wiegensee. Here you can linger, enjoy the peace and the view.
From the Wiegensee, there are various ways back, e.g. via the Verbella Alpe or Heilbronnerhütte or to the Kopssee or simply walk back comfortably to the railway.
