Dear Gastauer team,

We had a wonderful stay at Apart Gastauer. The receptionists were very kind and helpfull.
The environment is amazing, we even went parasailing with our family.
Also the BergePlus program was very good, even in coronatimes, with the best guides.
Our sons (17 and 13) also had a great time on the Golm with the e-bikes.

Dear Gastauer team,

we were with you for a weekend in the Montafon, more precisely in St. Gallenkirch.

Friday we arrived early in the evening and ended the first evening at the Greek restaurant in Tschagguns with very good food. Saturday we went into the mountains with the Grasjoch- and the Hochalpilabahn to the very top.

Our dog totally happy jumped right into the snow. After considering all the possibilities we decided to do the complete descent. It was great, a picture book panorama, even marmots right next to us. After about 4 ½ hours of descent with breaks, we arrived back in St. Gallenkirch. The next day before we went home we had breakfast on the Schafsberg in Gargellen. Due to various "muscle aches" we only had to walk the small smuggler's round about 2 hours up the mountain, then down again with the gondola and on the highway back home.

It was just great..........

Hello Dear Gastauer Team,

Many thanks again for the wonderful time in St. Gallenkirch. We had a very intensive nature-activity holiday, and every day we went hiking, e-biking, using the attractions on the Golm, and swimming in the wonderful Alpenbad Schruns, (since the pool could only open on the last day). We came back in top shape and well recovered. On the few days that the weather didn't spoil us, we were in Zurich and Bregenz, which was also a lot of fun. Because of the nice equipment in the Gastauer we liked to spend the evenings there, cooked a lot of food ourselves or got pizza around the corner and played table soccer afterwards.

We can highly recommend Gastauer especially to families who want to experience something on holiday and enjoy the wonderful nature. With the help of the mountain railway or e-bikes you can also go high up without having to walk up the mountain for a very long time. The apartments are well and completely equipped. Also the arrival and return journey from Hamburg was well possible in one day and without stress. Thanks again!

Dear Gastauer team,

the days are with you, as if in flight and the early departure was worthwhile for us.Without traffic jams and little traffic we arrived home safely again. We thank you for the really nice time and the stay in your house. The apartment was great and the uncomplicated possibility to extend the stay for two days has inspired us. We would like to thank you again for the always extremely friendly care, handling and the careful arrangements during the Corona time, but also for the tips for excursions.

With the mountain bike rental next door you have given us a special pleasure and we are already planning to be your guests again.

Super location, central in the centre of the village. Shopping possibilities like supermarket or baker in 3 min walking distance. Nice playground in the centre of the village. Nice little round trip to get to know the village, about one hour on the way. It was also great that we could reach the chairlift on foot to get up the mountain. Great hiking trail with a fantastic view. Even our little one with almost 6 years could walk the trail very well. Of course with a little oiling and moaning, pushing and pulling, 🤪aber all in all it was great to walk. If the weather is not so good there is billiard, table tennis, play corner, reading corner for the kids. For the parents entspannt Outdoor pool is heated! So it is great to use even when it is not so warm.

Regarding COVID-19 we always felt safe, the guidance system inside the buildings worked well. Sufficient disinfectant was available. On request, we were informed that the employees are currently having themselves tested again and again in order to be able to offer the guests appropriate protection. We would like to come here again and again, because we felt we were in good hands. We had booked a top flat with terrace.

Sporty bike tour in Montafon!

Last Sunday we undertook a great 7 hour bike tour. For us ambitious and sporty bikers a fantastic experience, which we would like to recommend to others. We went from the Apparthotel Gastauer via Partennen, past the toll station of the Hochalpenstrasse and after the first bend left towards the Kops Reservoir, via the Verballaalpe to the Neue Heilbronner Hütte. After a refreshment, a wonderful 25km long descent to Schruns!

Attention: on the descent, the bike must be pushed / carried over the Silbertaler Winterjöchle for about an hour. Not suitable for heavy e-bikes! As the route runs through the Natura 2000 area Verwall, the route is only open until 15th September.
